Chocolaterie Stam
I found out about Chocolaterie Stam through the wonderful world of Social Media. Well, I had seen it before while shopping in Shadowlake Towne Center, but I had never stopped into the store. After reaching out to them through social media I happened to run into the owners at the Best of Omaha Showcase that took place at Baxter Arena and I figured it was meant to be. I sampled a couple of bits of chocolate and decided that I should make a trip in the near future to the store.
It was a Daddy/Daughter Outing for Ariah and I because mom was at work and Jamelah got invited to a birthday party. Ariah was so sad that she couldn’t stay at the party with big sis and I thought I knew what could cheer her up. Initially, the plan was to go and have some froyo at Orange Leaf after our visit to Chocolaterie Stam, however, we were pleasantly surprised to see that the Stam served gelato! I gave Ariah the option and she decided that we should stay and have gelato. I wanted to sample some more of the candy and the hot chocolate that they serve was perfect for the chilly evening. We made ourselves at home and enjoyed some quality time together. It was a great opportunity to introduce Ariah to the game of Chess! Along with great products there is also seating areas and games for you to kick back and relax.
I think that it is safe to say that we had a good time! The 2 employees were really nice and there were a ton of different options to try. I’m sure that we will be back for another round of sampling and hot chocolate! After the hot chocolate and gelato mysteriously disappeared I grabbed a handful of items to bring back to the rest of the family. I’m not a chocolate buff; I just like to eat candy! I don’t have anything to compare this to and all I know is that I liked it.
If you are out in the Papillion area and are in the mood for gourmet chocolate Chocolaterie Stam is the place to visit. You still have a few days to get some holiday shopping done and what better gift is there than chocolate?
